About the deck
Walter Ihring’s Tarot of Consciousness grew out of the classic Rider–Waite tarot. Every card is a nine-frame path, a little journey in nine steps.
The cards are like a mirror. They show you what’s going on inside, how you feel and where you’re headed. Look at the picture first, then read the words, and notice what the card leaves you with.

How to read
Whether it’s your first time holding a tarot deck or you read the cards every morning, you won’t need a book. Everything is drawn right there on the card.
That’s why this deck is for everyone. Just take a look and read what the card is telling you. Use any spread you already know. Two come with the deck. Card of the day: draw one in the morning, keep it with you or stand it somewhere you’ll see it, and let it work on you all day. About Walter
Walter Ihring is a Slovak author who turns what he knows and has experienced into short, funny stories. They become books and other things that make people happy.
He loves drawing funny cartoons, characters and caricatures, and has plenty of competitions under his belt. In 2015 he published Walterin Bratislava, a city told in comics. Since then, more cities have followed, and not just books, but tarot cards and stickers too.

Hi. My name is Walter Ihring.
I devote my time to animated humour and caricatures. I like travelling, especially across India. My pictures also like travelling, especially for exhibitions in cities far away. On their return, they sometimes bring me an award as a souvenir from the competitions they had visited.
On one hot day in summer, I was sipping my coffee in the square, watching tourists race from the town hall to the cathedral, hunting for the stories of the people who lived there. It was there that I decided to link sketching with history, travelling and humour — and create amusing illustrated guides. In 2015 I published my first, about my hometown, Walterin Bratislava.
