Refund policy

This page explains how to withdraw from a purchase, how to return goods, how refunds work and how to make a claim for defects. The full rules are in our Terms and Conditions.
1. 14-day right of withdrawal
You can withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason within 14 days. The period starts on the day you receive the goods (for several parcels from one order, the day you receive the last one). For an eBook, it starts on the day the contract is concluded.
1.1 How to withdraw
- online via the "Withdraw from contract here" link in the footer of every page (https://walterin.com/pages/withdrawal); we send you a confirmation by email without undue delay;
- by email to support@walterin.com;
- by post to Walterin s. r. o., Ľubochnianska 4, 831 04 Bratislava, Slovakia.
You may use the model withdrawal form (section 5), but you don't have to. An unequivocal statement sent before the period ends is enough.
1.2 Returning the goods
Send the goods within 14 days of withdrawing to Walterin s. r. o., Ľubochnianska 4, 831 04 Bratislava, Slovakia. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
1.3 Refund
Within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal we refund all payments, including delivery (up to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery we offer), using your original payment method, free of charge. We may wait until the goods are back or you show that you sent them, whichever is earlier.
1.4 eBooks
If before downloading you expressly agreed that delivery may start before the withdrawal period ends and confirmed that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal, and we confirmed this consent to you by email, you can no longer withdraw from the eBook purchase.
2. Claims for defects
We are liable for defects in goods for 24 months from delivery, and for defects in eBooks for 24 months from supply. If a defect in goods appears within this period, it is presumed to have existed at delivery.
2.1 How to claim
Write to support@walterin.com with your order number, a description of the defect and what you ask for (repair or replacement; if neither is possible, a price reduction or a refund). We confirm your claim by email and settle it within 30 days at the latest. We pay the cost of sending the claimed goods.
2.2 Damaged or wrong item
Write to us, with a photo if you can. We replace damaged or wrong goods; if that is not possible, we refund you. We bear all costs.
3. Disputes
If you are not satisfied, ask us for redress at support@walterin.com. 4. Withdrawal instructions
4.1 Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. For multiple goods ordered in one order and delivered separately, it expires after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good. For an eBook (digital content not supplied on a tangible medium), it expires after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Walterin s. r. o., Ľubochnianska 4, 831 04 Bratislava – Nové Mesto, Slovakia, phone +421 905 549 907, email support@walterin.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://walterin.com/pages/withdrawal, via the "Withdraw from contract here" link in the footer of every page of the store. If you use this online feature, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email), including its content and the date and time of its submission, without undue delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
4.2 Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at Walterin s. r. o., Ľubochnianska 4, 831 04 Bratislava, Slovakia, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
4.3 eBooks
You have no right of withdrawal for an eBook once its supply has begun, if before supply began you expressly consented to supply starting before the end of the withdrawal period, you acknowledged that you had been informed that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal, and we provided you with confirmation of the contract, including this consent, on a durable medium (§ 19(1)(m) of Act No. 108/2024 Coll.).
